Basic Training in Botulinum Toxin Treatment for Cervical Dystonia

Target Group

Physicians, preferably in neurology or rehabilitation medicine, with limited or no experience in botulinum toxin treatment for cervical dystonia.

Purpose

Gain knowledge and practical experience to perform assessment and treatment of patients with simple cervical dystonia patterns using ultrasound-guided techniques.

Learning Objectives

• Improve knowledge in anatomy and patient assessment for simple cervical dystonia patterns.

• Understand treatment strategies with BoNT-A, including muscle selection and dosing.

• Acquire fundamental skills in ultrasound-guided injection technique
